HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR JEWELRY

Taking proper care will help the longevity and beauty of your 18K gold jewelry.

Here are some tips to help you care for your jewelry:

  • Avoid Exposure to Harsh Chemicals: Avoid exposing your jewelry to harsh chemicals such as perfume, hairspray, household chemicals and lotions as they can dull the shine. Use products or apply before putting on your jewelry and allow them to dry completely. While you can get your 18K gold jewelry wet in water, avoid exposing your jewelry to pools with chlorine (harsh chemicals cause plating to tarnish over time).

  • Clean Gently: To clean your 18K gold jewelry, mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water. Soak the jewelry in the solution for a few minutes, then use a soft brush (like a toothbrush) to gently scrub away dirt or residue. Rinse the jewelry under warm running water and pat dry with a micro-fiber cloth. After each use, use a micro-fiber cloth to wipe off any residue from the day and store in a jewelry box or pouch.

  • Store Properly: When not wearing, store your jewelry in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Store each piece in a jewelry box individually or in our Blush & Bliss pouches. It's best to store each in a separate compartment as this will prevent scratches and tangling with other jewelry pieces.

  • Avoid Wearing During Physical Activity: Take off your jewelry during activities that could cause damage such as playing sports, heavy lifting, or manual labor as this may cause scratches and damage the gold's surface.
